What do you do and why do you do it?
I make art, I do it because I have to, I do it because it’s ancestral, I do it because it’s really fkn fun. I like to paint, painting is buzzy. I like images, I like text, I like how images can convey something immediately and text can communicate something more directly. I like the potential for beauty, change, new ideas that images and text and art can bring about and bring forth. I do it to reflect, reflect back to the world, (unafraid to) reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it, etc.

What are you working on at the moment?
Right now I’m working on some drawings n paintings n dye works it’s so nostalgicccccccc like the stuff I made in year 1 ❤️ and also currently co-creating within The Killing, a new body of moving image works. And myself #self #care ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What do you love about art?
I love that I have been doing it for as long as I can remember.
I love that it is a language I can use to communicate without even opening my waha. I love how it is my most native tongue.
I love that it is so natural and inherent within Our experience: to create pictures, to sing songs, to dance dances, etc I love the connection and relationships that this most natural practice has manifested in my life. I love the freedom and abundance it continues to bless me with and vice versa etc etc

What are you reading/listening to/watching at the moment?
PinkPantheress has had me in a chokehold lately - “Stateside” sounds like ear sex to me. always listening to Lady Gaga, And Addison Rae new album - I love “ Money is Everything”, ”New York“, “Fame is a Gun” all the other singles are really good pop music. She’s a star. I am reading Pleasure Activism by adrienne maree brown. and watching Harry Potter clips like I want to be Dumbledore he speaks so poetically and ancientally - but like also I’m the Dark Lord - minus all the white supremacist undertones of the whole potterverse - also the author is a bit bonkers too !! da tossers a TERF !!
