Come and learn about the Arts Makers Aotearoa Artist Fees guidelines, and resources available. We will talk about how they came about, how they are being used, and how you can use them as an advocacy tool to get paid! A practical artist to artist workshop, there will be opportunity to share our experiences, tips, and work together to make sure we are getting paid what we are worth for our creative practice, as well as what we can share and resources that can help support us.

Siân Quennell Torrington (them/them, she/her, Tangata Tiriti, Welsh, German, Scottish) is an artist who explores how to express feelings through drawings and sculptures to embody an anti-shame practice by making what is internal external and visible to others. An ongoing project public art project is ‘How is your Heart’, where audiences put on a wearable sculpture, to express.
