What is identity? How is it manipulated and formed within the construct of Post-Modern culture?
Ideas of self and identity are in flux with each other. Our perceptions and visions of our + self ebb and flow, they are governed by context, by our social situation, standing, profession, gender, race, and any other demographic you care to name. Those who think they are fixed entities in a revolving material world are sadly mistaken.

Providing an opportunity for experimental curation, the Number Nine series (August – December 2002) set out to foster discourse and critical debate relating to curatorial practice and its role in contemporary New Zealand art practice.
