Join us to celebrate the opening of Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) on Wednesday 31 May, 6pm - 8pm.

Enjoy is pleased to present Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), an exchange between Kikuchi University, Kumamoto, Japan, and Enjoy Contemporary Art Space, Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa, featuring work by 青い, Mayu Kanamori, カツオ(のえ)ブ(ォ)シ, Hana Kobori, Ravi Masaki, Chugen Nakahara, Masaaki Oyamada, Kyohei Sakaguchi, Shinoka Sekihara, Moeko Sonoda, Shinsuke Takebe, Kazuya Tateishi, Makiko Tomita and Utageguruma.

Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) encourages artists to contemplate personal and collective relationships to the future from their own perspective. The project seeks to stimulate earnest, personal consideration of how the future is moulded out of our current actions and attitudes. Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) dislocates the gallery, the artwork and the artist, instead focussing on the direct experience of media within time and space.

Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) will be opening in our Screening Room alongside the exhibition I Live Here, by Pablos Art Studios.
