Rose James

Resonance is a solo exhibition at Enjoy Gallery presented by sonic artist and composer, Rose James.

More

The installation consists of a multi-channel, spatialized composition that marries the sounds of the body and the material qualities of steel, using the phenomena of sound to explore the sympathetic entwinement of the body and architecture. Resonance endeavours to explain the emotive resonance of the self to one’s built environment; implicit in this scenario is the notion that we explain ourselves through the buildings we build, and we read ourselves in our own surroundings.
